Beskrivelse
Ko Kret Island Cycling TourJust up the Chao Phraya river from Bangkok, lies Koh Kret, an island cut from the mainland while dredging a shortcut on a bend in the river. It is populated by the Mon people, earlier inhabitants that once dominated the country. It is famed for its unique pottery and earthenware.

The trip begins not far from Bangkok on the mainland at Wat Ko Kriang temple grounds that we visit before heading off on a ride along the riverbank though orchards and fields, cycling through local communities of friendly people living a quiet lifestyle.

Cross by ferry to Koh Kret to cycle along narrow roads (there are no cars on the island), visiting the pottery village and a Mon style temple, as well as the lively market. Then we stop for an excellent Thai lunch by the river before crossing back to Wat Klang Kret and then home.

This is a very easy ride of less than 20 kilometers on mostly flat roads and a great day out for a family or any group wanting to enjoy a taste of old Siam!

- Children joining the tours should be competent cyclist as there might be some narrow pathways.
- Children under the age 5 of are free of charge.
- This tour follows a mix of asphalt roads, vehicle-width dirt roads, and canal paths. No technical ability is required.
- Support includes one or two seat 8-seat air-conditioned minibuses fitted with two-way radio and specially converted to take bikes and bikers.
- There is 1 guide for 6-8 guests.
